Bagehot Backs for Building Skills, Trades, Craftmanship Scholarship

Overview

The Bagehot Backs for Building Skills, Trades, and Craftsmanship Scholarship is available to Martha’s Vineyard residents of all ages who are pursuing skills and training related to the building trades. This includes fields such as architecture, structural engineering, woodworking, metalworking, masonry, painting, interior and landscape design, and fine craftsmanship. Special consideration is given to descendants of those who have worked on Bagehot Backs and to applicants intending to build their careers and lives on Martha’s Vineyard. Preference may also be given to those continuing a parent’s craft or trade.
