Overview

The Doyle D. Starnes, Jr. DVM Presidential Honors Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen students who are planning to attend Tyler Junior College. Students seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree are eligible to apply. Recipients will be expected to participate in the Presidential Honors Program. Special consideration is given to students planning to study veterinary medicine, with agriculture being the second priority.
