Brown & Gold

Overview

Western Michigan University established institutional scholarships and grants, including the Brown & Gold award, to help cover the expenses of students' education for those entering for the first time after high school or transferring from another institution. These merit-based awards are offered on a competitive basis for academic success, financial need, and promoting multicultural awareness. The university limits institutional funds to the annual cost of attendance and designs these merit scholarships to be renewable for the duration of a student's undergraduate journey or until degree requirements are met.
