Detroit Promise

Overview

The Detroit Promise at Western Michigan University is an institutional scholarship program designed to help cover the expenses of education for students who have completed high school or are transferring from another institution. Established to reward hard work, the program is part of a variety of institutional grants and scholarships intended to support students based on financial need, academic success, and promoting multicultural awareness. These scholarships contribute to WMU's mission of providing Broncos with access to awards and funding specifically designed for first-year and transfer students.
