The Samantha Olekszy Memorial Scholarship was established to honor and remember Samantha Olekszy, a graduate of the Class of 2015 from Walled Lake Western HS who passed away unexpectedly in September 2023. Samantha graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality. This scholarship recognizes a student who plans to further their education and has a passion for travel, party planning, or reading, while continuing Samantha's legacy of kindness, inclusivity, and academic achievement by fostering a welcoming environment for all.
