John Drypen Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was created in 2009 to honor John Drypen, a member of the Class of 2000 at Walled Lake Central High School who passed away from cancer in 2005. John was a beloved teacher and coach, and this memorial fund was established to recognize students who demonstrate leadership both in the classroom and on the athletic field. The scholarship specifically honors those who, like John, have shown resilience and a positive spirit in the face of adversity.
