The Ike’s Scholar Scholarship is the flagship award of the What Ike Would Do (WIWD) Foundation, dedicated to supporting well-rounded students who demonstrate a balance of academic achievement, athletic participation, and community involvement. It was established by Indira and Chris Onwuzurike to honor the legacy of their son, Ikechukwu 'Ike' Onwuzurike, who graduated from Brother Rice High School in 2014 and was known for excelling in academics and athletics while living out his faith. The foundation focuses on helping youth and young adults by inspiring knowledge and excellence in the four pillars of life: Mind, Body, Spirit, and Soul.
