Overview
The Michigan Achievement Scholarship program is free money from the State of Michigan to lower the cost of college by thousands of dollars per year. The Michigan Achievement Scholarship began to make college affordable to more students, increase Michigan’s homegrown talent pool, and get the state closer to Governor Whitmer’s goal of increasing the number of Michigan adults with a skill certificate or college degree to 60% by 2030. Beginning with Fall 2023, Michigan high school graduate students could receive up to $5,500 in the Michigan Achievement Scholarship.
