MTU Summer Youth Program Scholarship

Overview

Breakwater Federal Credit Union established this scholarship in partnership with Michigan Technological University’s GEAR UP initiative and TRIO Pre-College Programs to provide high school students an opportunity to attend university summer programs. The scholarship was created as part of the first ‘Bright Futures Fair,’ an open-house event featuring resources for tutoring, study skills, and interactive activities. It aims to encourage student interest in diverse technical fields by offering winners their choice of MTU summer youth programs, ranging from computer science to robotics to aerospace engineering.
