Kalamazoo Promise Scholarship

Overview

Several Michigan communities have created special scholarship programs called 'Promise' scholarships to help their local students afford college. These community-funded programs recognize that education is an investment in the future, and they're designed to remove financial barriers that might prevent students from pursuing higher education. The Kalamazoo Promise specifically helps students who attended Kalamazoo Public Schools pay for their tuition and fees at college, removing financial obstacles to pursuing a degree.
