Bob Owens Art Scholarship

Overview

This fund was established in 2004 by Dr. Kathy Gillespie Jackson, North Georgia College alumna as well as prestigious former high school teacher and UNG part-time faculty. The scholarship is intended to honor Bob Owens, the beloved artist and art educator who left an invaluable legacy of leadership among art students. It was also established by art faculty members in memory of Professor Bob Owens, a former department head and beloved teacher who contributed significantly to the growth of the art department at the University of North Georgia.
