Presidential Difference Maker Scholarship

Overview

The Presidential Difference Maker Scholarship recognizes incoming EMU students who have demonstrated a significant impact in their communities through service, leadership, or innovation. It was founded by President James Smith and Dr. Connie Ruhl-Smith to support students who are not only academically strong but have also shown a dedicated commitment to making a positive difference in their communities. The award is often granted in conjunction with the Presidential Scholarship process for students who show exceptional 'difference maker' qualities.
