Melodi Dulyea - Christina Shilling Memorial Scholarship Fund

Overview

Melodi Dulyea and Christina Shilling were two long-time, dedicated Athens Area Schools educators who became a safe place for all students who not only needed educational support but encouragement, as well. Melodi Dulyea began her career with Athens as a paraprofessional in a special education classroom, eventually becoming a teacher and advisor for clubs such as SADD and YAC, while Christina Shilling dedicated 24 years to special education in Athens, remembered for her faith and infectious smile. In honor of these two remarkable educators, this memorial scholarship was established to help students who are seeking to achieve a post high school education in either a certified trade, a two-year college, or four-year college degree.
