Athens Area Schools Alumni Fund for Student Excellence

Overview

The Athens Alumni Association was formally organized in 1987. Prior to that date, a group of Athens High School graduates met informally for several years to begin developing their plans. They currently meet for a potluck and meeting on the Sunday of Summer Homecoming each year, and all graduates are encouraged to attend. The Athens Area Schools Alumni Association Endowment Fund was established in 2003 for the purpose of providing scholarships to graduating seniors or grants at Athens Area Schools.
