George Cummings & Elvis Frost Memorial Scholarship Fund

Overview

This scholarship was established by the families of Joy and David Foster and Kathleen Litton in memory of their grandparents, George and Nola Cummings and Elvis and Pauline Frost. George served in the Army during World War II and worked at Chrysler for over 30 years, while Elvis worked at the Buick plant in Flint for more than 40 years. Both families lived through the Great Depression and deeply valued education and the trades, leading their families to create this fund to help students obtain a quality education through their hard work.
