James A. Hansen Memorial Scholarship Fund

Overview

James graduated from Athens High School in 2003. He was a member of the golf team, as well as the National Honor Society. He enjoyed playing the drums and running. James attended KCC and Central Michigan University, and was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity at CMU. He continued his education while in the Air Force through CMU’s College of Extended Learning and was working toward his bachelor’s degree. He was a Senior Airman in the U.S. Air Force, specializing in airfield management. James died September 15, 2010, while on active duty in Iraq.
