The Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) recognizes student achievement through a variety of scholarships and grants for its student members who are part of the International Thespian Society. These awards include support for performance; technical theatre; playwriting; and theatre education. They were established to help students pursue theatre arts in higher education and are awarded based on talent; academic record; and commitment to the theatre arts.
