Overview
The Florida FES-UA scholarship (Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities) is a Florida state program that provides education savings accounts to families of children with disabilities. Established by Florida Statute 1002.394, it provides approximately $10,000 per year for private school tuition, ABA therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, curriculum materials, tutoring, and other approved educational expenses. The program serves as a successor to the formerly separate Gardiner and McKay scholarships, consolidating them into a single education savings account (ESA) model designed to allow parents to choose the best educational setting for their child's unique needs.
