Spring Mini-grant

Overview

SLEF grants are awarded to enhance student learning and involvement, and to encourage innovative educational activities for South Lyon students. Since 2018, SLEF has awarded more than 100 grants, directly impacting the teachers and students of South Lyon Community Schools (SLCS). The foundation was created by a group of dedicated parents, teachers, and community leaders motivated to help the district provide the best possible educational opportunities for students, especially as school funding decisions at the state level have frequently left the South Lyon district with less per-pupil funding than other communities.
