Overview
The South Lyon Area Democrats (SLAD) will be awarding a scholarship to a local graduating high school senior to support their college, vocational school, or other post-high-school education, training, or activism. This scholarship was established to support local youth who are dedicated to community service and social progress and will be awarded to a student who demonstrates progressive values, care for their community, and a desire for action. Award recipients are decided upon by members of the SLAD organization.
