Denise Keeley Memorial Scholarship

Overview

After her eighth and last child graduated from college, Denise M. Keeley returned to the classroom, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Siena Heights in 1988. A sculptor whose stone carvings explored women’s issues, Denise co-founded the Lenawee Council for the Visual Arts. The scholarship was created in Denise’s memory by her family, to reward a deserving woman who, like her, was a non-traditional art student.
