Ruth Lafontaine Scholarship

Overview

The Ruth LaFontaine Scholarship was established through the estate of Ruth LaFontaine, a friend and supporter of Siena Heights University. Ruth LaFontaine graduated from Siena Heights in 1972, and spent 25 years serving in the U.S. Army. After her retirement, she became the Security Operations Manager for the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution and later the Director of Security for the Johns Hopkins Hospital; she truly enjoyed her time as a student at Siena Heights University and later became a member of the Board of Trustees.
