Choice Scholarship Expansion

Overview

The Indiana Choice Scholarship Program, often referred to as the Choice Scholarship Expansion due to recent legislative updates under HB 1001, provides state-funded vouchers to eligible students to offset the cost of tuition at participating private schools. Established as one of the largest voucher programs in the nation, it was expanded to include most Indiana families by significantly raising income limits. The program is designed to promote education freedom by allowing state per-pupil funding to follow the student to their chosen private educational institution.
