Overview

For more than 60 years, Mariann Hoag shaped Roeper with her trailblazing leadership, deep compassion, and unwavering belief in every child’s potential. As chair of the Financial Aid Committee, she knew every student by name and knew exactly when to lift them, challenge them, and help them discover their greatness. When she passed in 2009, the school honored her extraordinary devotion by renaming its financial aid program in her memory. The program serves as the primary vehicle through which The Roeper School provides need-based financial assistance to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive.
