The Rochester Area Youth Assistance (RAYA) Scholarship was established as a legacy fund to empower Rochester Community Schools children and award students wanting to continue their education. Legacy donors partner with the Rochester Community Schools Foundation to create and provide scholarships to high school seniors to promote continuing education and empower them to pursue their dreams. The scholarship is awarded based on funds available to graduating RCS high school seniors who best meet the criteria set when the legacy fund was established.
