Pontiac Promise Zone

Overview

The Pontiac Promise Zone (PPZ) scholarship is a universal scholarship for students who reside within the Pontiac School District boundaries and graduate from a public, private, or charter high school within those boundaries. The scholarship was established to provide youth in the district with the opportunity to pursue post-secondary education or training, specifically making dreams come true for those who may not have resources for a Michigan college education. It covers the cost of tuition and mandatory fees for up to 62 credits or the completion of an associate degree or certificate program at a partner institution, and can support two or four-year degrees.
