Father Paul Memorial

Overview

This scholarship was established in memorial of Father Paul, who was very involved in the Our Lady of the Lakes churches. Following his ordination, he was assigned to the parishes of St. Alice and St. Christopher’s and continued to return every summer for seven years to help out while serving as faculty moderator of college student housing at St. John's University. He was instrumental in leading TEC retreats and working with youth in the parish. Additionally, he founded the Saint John's Arboretum to protect land for education, conservation, and research, and even planted trees at St. Christopher’s before his death in 2000.
