Non-resident Award

Overview

The Non-Resident Award was established by Oakland University to support incoming first-year and transfer students who are not residents of Michigan. The award is designed to make higher education more accessible by allowing qualified non-resident students, including citizens and permanent residents of Canada and Mexico, to pay in-state tuition rates. It is awarded based on academic merit as part of the university's commitment to attracting a diverse student body from outside the state.
