Overview
The Walled Lake School Employees Credit Union created this scholarship in 2004 at each of the Walled Lake High Schools to provide financial assistance to a graduating member of the credit union, or the graduating son/daughter of a credit union member. This scholarship is managed by Legacy Scholarship Funds, Inc., a non-profit public charity established in May 1981 to provide scholarships to high school seniors. The fund was originally known as Central Scholarship Funds, Inc. until May 2007 and was licensed to solicit contributions to support graduates of the Walled Lake and surrounding school districts.
