Ambroggio Prize

Overview

The Ambroggio Prize is an annual award for a first or second book of poetry in Spanish, translated into English. It is the only national prize for Spanish-language poets in the United States. Established by the Academy of American Poets in honor of the poet Luis Alberto Ambroggio, the award often highlights the work of students and scholars in linguistics and literature while primarily serving authors of book-length manuscripts.
