NAIA Swimming Scholarships

Overview

NAIA swimming scholarships are established by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics to support student-athletes competing in swim programs at member institutions. These awards follow the 'equivalency' scholarship model, which provides coaches with a pool of scholarship money to divide among the athletes on their roster in any manner they choose. This system was created to allow flexibility in recruitment, enabling coaches to offer anything from a full scholarship to partial aid covering tuition, room and board, or specific costs like lab fees and books.
