Organ Scholarship in Memory of Dr. Stephen R. Lange

Overview

Established by Nancy Lange in memory of Dr. Stephen R. Lange, who received three degrees in music and one in mathematics from Michigan State University. Dr. Lange served as the choir director and minister of music at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in downtown Lansing for 45 years and directed the Lange Choral Ensemble for 47 years. This scholarship supports students pursuing organ studies at the College of Music and honors his nearly half-century of musical service to the Lansing community.
