Overview
Mark Langlois was happiest when he was working with tools and building things, having enjoyed working in the trades from a young age before joining his family’s property development business in Mt. Pleasant. In 2021, Mark passed away while attempting to save a friend caught in a riptide; in the wake of this loss, his brother Kevin established this fund to honor Mark’s courage, generosity, and love for the trades. The scholarship fund is dedicated to providing options for students in Isabella County who find their passion in skilled trades rather than traditional academic classes.
