Drews Scholar

Overview

The Drews Scholar program was established to support students from Berrien County who are pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) fields. Many scholarships at the Berrien Community Foundation were established to honor a beloved spouse, parent, child or loved one, with donors taking a terrible loss and turning it into a blessing through their sacrifice and thought. The Foundation itself was founded by William Vawter and other local leaders to give community members a way to give back to the community in perpetuity.
