This scholarship is designated for volunteers who have served at the Lakeland Hospital in Berrien Center (formerly Berrien General) and supports students pursuing careers in the medical field. It was established through Lakeland Health Foundations, which works to invest in the future by providing scholarships for education and training in health care. This investment has been made possible largely through endowments from community members designed with the sole purpose of investing in healthcare education and training to ensure a workforce for the future.
