Al Ford Award

Overview

The Al Ford Award is a scholarship recognition presented through the American Legion Department of Michigan Student Trooper Program, also known as the Youth Cadet Law Enforcement Program. The program was established to provide high school students with an opportunity to learn about the law enforcement profession while competing for prize money for college. It aims to foster an interest in criminal justice and recognizes top-performing participants selected by program instructors based on their performance and dedication during the program session.
