JN Athlete of the Year Scholarship

Overview

The highly competitive Jewish News High School Athlete of the Year awards are based on outstanding athletic achievement by male and female Jewish high school athletes from Michigan. Presented in conjunction with the Detroit Jewish News, the program honors the top Jewish male and female high school scholar-athletes in Michigan, traditionally recognizing graduating seniors for their career accomplishments. The Michigan Jewish Sports Foundation was founded in 1984 to both honor Jewish individuals who have distinguished themselves as athletes within the state of Michigan and to foster Jewish identity through athletics.
