This scholarship was established in 2023 by Mary Ann (Balous) DuBay ’66 and Marilyn Balous in memory of Joseph Balous (husband of Marilyn and father of Mary Ann) and Marilyn Balous (mother of Mary Ann). The fund was created to help provide opportunities for a better education to young women at Marian High School. It honors the legacy of Joe and Marilyn Balous by supporting students who demonstrate resilience and academic dedication despite financial challenges.
