MAEO Mini Grants

Overview

The Michigan Alternative Education Organization (MAEO) established the mini-grant program to provide support and funding to Michigan Alternative Schools, which are often misunderstood by the community as 'the school for the bad kids.' Receiving these awards helps give alternative programs credibility and meaning through organizational support. The funds are intended to be used for classroom supplies, specifically for programs like Life Skills classes that help students develop competencies in areas such as Personal Wellness, Career Planning, and Consumer Awareness to be successful in the work world and personal lives.
