The Mary Johnson Memorial Scholarship

Overview

This scholarship was established in 2007 by Mary’s daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Mike Stover, to honor her legacy. Mary grew up in Madison and graduated from Madison High School in 1937. She and her late husband, Kenneth Johnson, raised two daughters in Madison. Mary worked for thirty years as an executive secretary for the Wickliffe City School District. Following retirement, she spent many hours volunteering for the Madison Public Library and the Madison Historical Society.
