Overview
In fall 2020, the University of Michigan welcomed its first cohort of U.P. Scholars, building a new community tailored to support incoming students from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. A partnership between the College of LSA, the Ross School of Business, and the Office of Financial Aid, this program provides distinct opportunities and individualized support from staff who understand and value the unique experiences of U.P. students. The program is built on a foundation of support, community, and success, aimed at students driven by a shared desire for academic and professional excellence to better themselves and their communities.
