This scholarship is offered in memory of Chuck Mahoney, a former Science teacher and coach at Lake Orion High School who passed away in the spring of 2020. Chuck taught Science at Lake Orion Junior High West and Lake Orion High School for 25 years. Chuck desired this scholarship be awarded to a senior who exemplifies three important characteristics: Hard Working (dedicating energy toward science), Honesty/Integrity, and a Servant’s Heart (passion to help others in humble acts of service).
