Overview
This scholarship was created to honor the life of Elaine Hines, who graduated from the nursing program at Wayne State University in 1964. She worked as a Registered Nurse for nearly 40 years. Elaine loved being a nurse and enjoyed helping others. She lived in Lake Orion for many years and two of her three children graduated from LOHS. Her family and friends established this scholarship to help a student pursue a nursing degree.
