George Finkle Memorial Scholastic Awards

Overview

The George Finkle Memorial Scholastic Awards were established through a bequest from the estate of George Finkle to assist Jewish students in Manitoba with the costs of post-secondary education. These awards are granted to Jewish high school students who are beginning their post-secondary education at a university, college, or other program within Manitoba. Selection is based on a combination of financial need, academic achievement, and involvement in both the Jewish and general communities.
