Rising Female Athlete Scholarship

Overview

The Rising Female Athlete Scholarship was created by Alyssa Lavdis, a former Division I softball athlete at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and two-time NCAA National Tournament competitor. It was established to support female student-athletes who demonstrate excellence in the classroom, commitment to their sport, and involvement in their school and community. Through years of discipline, sacrifice, and hard work, Alyssa understands what it takes to compete at the next level, and this scholarship reflects her belief that true success is built not only through athletics and academics, but through leadership, service, and giving back. It aims to invest in young women who are driven, resilient, and prepared to make an impact beyond sport.
