Overview
The Freedom Fund Scholarship is sponsored by the Lake County Ohio Branch of the NAACP to support minority students residing in Lake County as they pursue higher education. The scholarship was established with the hope that recipients will recognize the value of giving back to their community and become permanent active members of the NAACP. In addition to the monetary award, recipients receive a one-year paid membership to the Lake County NAACP to encourage involvement in establishing true justice and equity.
