The Holly Elementary Scholarship in Memory of Kent Barnes

Overview

Holly Elementary School is pleased to announce the awarding of a $500.00 scholarship to a student graduating from Holly High School in June 2025 who has been accepted to an accredited college, university, or trade school. Mr. Barnes was an extraordinary person who made an impact on many staff and students of Holly Elementary School. He volunteered in the classrooms on a weekly basis for many years. Throughout the years, he made several donations to Holly Elementary for the book fairs and the holiday shop for students to be able to purchase items. He also participated in many of our school musical/holiday events, along with being a mystery reader during each arch. We would like to present a former Holly Elementary student with this scholarship.
