Overview
Birmingham Youth Assistance (BYA) Youth in Service Awards is a celebration of youth who demonstrate a commitment to serving others in our community. Nominated students will be honored at an evening ceremony co-sponsored by BYA and the Birmingham Optimists Club. All nominees will receive certificates of commendation from national, state, and local officials, and at least two will be selected to receive scholarships. This award is intended to strengthen any college, job, or scholarship application for the recipients.
