Smith (crapo C.) Scholarship

Overview

The Crapo C. Smith Scholarship was established by the will of Crapo C. Smith, a University of Michigan alumnus who graduated from the Law School in 1896. A lifelong resident of Ann Arbor, Mr. Smith left his entire estate to the University to provide scholarship aid for students he described as "worthy and needy." This endowment remains one of the most significant and historically important scholarship funds at the University of Michigan.
