Dr. Jon Cozean Memorial Scholarship

Overview

This is a $1,000 scholarship given in memory of Dr. Jon Cozean by the Farmington Educational Foundation. Dr. Cozean was a proud graduate of Farmington High School. He went on to receive a degree in journalism from the University of Missouri, Columbia; a master’s degree from George Washington University; and, a doctorate in international relations from the American University in Washington, D.C. Jon proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. His lifelong passion for educational pursuits was reflected not only in his own education, travels and professional endeavors, but also in his service to his community. He was a devoted supporter of the Farmington School District and the Farmington Knights football team. He served on the Farmington Educational Foundation board for twenty-five years always advocating for the best educational opportunities possible for our students.
